The Story So Far…

I’ve always believed that a car is never just a collection of metal and glass—it’s a vessel for stories.

My journey into this world didn’t start with spec sheets or engine codes. It started with a camera in my hand and a curiosity for the people who spend their weekends nurturing these machines. For the past seven years, I’ve had the privilege of documenting the Mercedes-Benz Club of NSW, wandering through the paddocks of the Eastern Creek Classic, and standing amidst the quiet elegance of the Concours d’Elegance.

In that time, I’ve learned that the best shots aren’t always the ones of a perfect car on a perfect track. They’re the “in-between” moments: the weathered hands of a mechanic reaching for a vintage tool, the soft morning light hitting a dashboard at the Sydney German Autofest, or the shared laughter between owners who have known each other for decades.

My fascination with heritage transport extends beyond the lens and into the workshop. On weekends, you’ll often find me volunteering at the Sydney Bus Museum, helping to preserve the rolling history of our city. This same appreciation for ‘living history’ sits in my own garage in the form of a Mercedes-Benz 280CE; owning a C123 has taught me that the best stories aren’t just told—they’re maintained. There is a specific kind of magic in the rattle of a vintage double-decker and the smooth, pillarless silhouette of a classic coupe

Whether I’m capturing the heritage of a classic 190SL or conducting a comprehensive consumer insights strategy, my approach remains the same: I’m looking for the heartbeat of the story.

With a background in Commerce and Communications, I look at the world through a lens that values both strategy and soul. I’m not just interested in what something looks like; I’m interested in how it feels, why it matters and the legacy it leaves behind.

I’m currently based in Sydney, usually found with a coffee in one hand, a Canon in the other and a deep appreciation for a good road trip.
